Sara took her Bachelor and Master’s degree in her native Portugal, then moved to the UK to complete her post-graduate training at Sheffield Hallam and has lived here ever since. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Sara has a wide range of experience with adults covering many musculoskeletal problems including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, sprains, strains, sport injuries, work injuries, radiculopathies, sciatica, back and neck pain, tendinitis and tendinopathies (such as tennis elbow or golfers elbow), shoulder problems including frozen shoulders, rotator cuff problems, knee pain, lack of strength, stiffness, pre-op preparation, post-op rehab, fractures, . . . Sara is trained in dry needling and acupuncture and is a member of the acupuncture association of chartered physiotherapists.
